Connect Claude or ChatGPT to ATPL Training over the Model Context Protocol.

Add MCP server

Add the MCP server to your project config using the command line.

claude mcp add --scope project --transport http atpl "https://atpltraining.io/api/mcp?student_ref=stu_…&read_only=true&features=qbank,regs,progress,weather,logbook"

Authenticate

After configuring the MCP server you need to authenticate. In a regular terminal (not the IDE extension) run:

claude /mcp

Select the atpl server, then choose Authenticate to begin the OAuth flow.

Install Agent Skills Optional

Agent Skills give AI coding tools ready-made instructions, scripts and resources for working with the ATPL syllabus more accurately.

npx skills add atpl/agent-skills

This connection is scoped to your account only and is read-only. You can revoke access any time from Settings → Connectors.

MCP
