Traffic circuit

  • Maximum 1900 ft / 580 m AMSL
  • Left-hand for RWY 05L/05R, right-hand for RWY 23L/23R.
  • Both circuits are flown north of the runway. The south side is strictly prohibited — it conflicts with Kbely.
  • The field sits inside MCTR Kbely, and the circuit passes through CTR Ruzyně.

Local procedures

  • Parallel operation on the two runways is strictly forbidden.
  • Both 05 thresholds are displaced behind the road crossing the approach — overfly it at a minimum of 15 m.
  • Aerodrome fire and rescue category 2B. No passenger, baggage or aircraft security screening.
  • Outside published hours, arrival and departure need prior approval by e-mail 12 hours ahead.
  • Runway inspection every day 08:45–08:55 local; the field is closed to all traffic during it.
  • Noise abatement: no overflight of Čakovice, Kbely, Miškovice, Vinoř, Satalice, Horní Počernice or the Prosek estate.

Obstacles

  • High-voltage line 940 m west of THR 05L, north–south route, poles 32 m AGL, top elevation 1040 ft AMSL, day-marked.
  • Instrument approach glide path for RWY 28 LKVO passes above TRA GA Letňany 1E at 2500 ft AMSL.
